$50 per person
$350 for a table of 8

2018 saw community members come together with economic development professionals for a first-ever placemaking conference in downtown Gloversville. Placemaking 101 was a two-day experience for attendees and set the stage for positive actions not only in Gloversville, but in Fulton County. We are beginning to plan another conference set for April 2020, but we don’t want to see the amazing momentum slow!
Join us May 2, 2019 for a Placemaking Dinner, a celebration of placemaking in downtown Gloversville and across the area.
This year, we will be hosting Placemaking in Gloversville: A dinner celebration. This dinner is the kick-off to a weekend full of placemaking activities including 100in1 Day. Speaker Coleen Fabrizi, Executive Director of Corning’s Gaffer District will share the story of how cooperation, communication and education helped revitalize Corning, NY.
The evening will also feature our inaugural Placemaker in Gloversville award. This award is given to a business, individual or organization who works diligently to make Gloversville a warm, welcoming and active place. We are excited to announce that this year’s awardee is Michael Medina from Fulton County Barber Shop. The work he does throughout the year such as read to a barber has helped to draw people into the business district and build community.
