Downtown Food and Music Festival Set for Saturday
Bacon Jam, downtown Gloversville’s bacon and music festival will be held this Saturday, September 29, 2018 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Farmers Market Pavilion between Elm and Bleecker Streets in Gloversville. All are welcome to attend. Now in its second year, Bacon Jam features bacon-centric food, community groups, live music and a beer garden. Full event details are available here. “We are pleased to once again host this major downtown event,” said Jennifer Jennings, Gloversville’s Downtown Development Specialist. “Our planning committee has worked hard to make this year’s Bacon Jam bigger and better than last year. We have amazing food lined-up, great musicians and local hard cider and beer. We cannot wait to share Bacon Jam with the entire community.”

Please note: the beer garden has an entrance fee of $5 with beers purchased for an additional cost.
Live music will be performed by:
- 4-5 p.m. Craic Agus Ceol
- 5-6 p.m. Michelle King
- 6-7 p.m. Our Secret Love Society
- 7-8 p.m. The Insolent Willies
All guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs to sit and enjoy the music throughout the day.

The event’s layout spans the parking lot surrounding the Farmers Market Pavilion and is located between Bleecker and Elm Streets. A small portion of Elm Street will be closed to traffic to allow safe pedestrian flow between Bacon Jam and North Main Street. Public parking will be accessible along Elm and Bleecker Streets.
Community organizations will also have tables at the event. These include:

Fulton Montgomery Community College is the official Music Sponsor of Bacon Jam.
